Kakarela Community Radio is a proudly South African online community radio station broadcasting from Mathyszynloop, at the former Njomane Primary School in the KwaNdebele area, under the Thembisile Hani Local Municipality in Mpumalanga.

Established on 6 January 2024 by Mr Glen Sithole, Kakarela Community Radio was created with a clear purpose: to give the community a voice, connect people through radio, promote local talent and culture, and provide reliable information that makes a meaningful difference in people's lives.

As a growing online radio station, we reach listeners not only within KwaNdebele and Mpumalanga, but also across South Africa and beyond through our digital broadcasting platform.

Our programming brings together news, education, sport, music, entertainment, interviews, community discussions and interactive programmes, creating a platform where communities can connect, share ideas and celebrate their stories.
