Hope FM 93.3

HOPE FM: 93.3 is registered commercial radio with a public broadcasting face established in the heart of Makeni in February 2016.

The radio which is owned by the media entrepreneur and former Vice President of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalist (SLAJ) - Mr. Stanley Bangura was established on the foundation of changing the narrative for young broadcast practitioners in the region.

The name HOPE is representative of the owner's desire to give hope to those whose quest to become journalists is strangled by bottlenecks created by some media owners and or managers.

It's established to open platforms that speaks to societal ills, promote free speech and enhance professional practice. Situated on #4 Field Rd, Makeni, HOPE FM staff is made of an absolute youthful team.
