A sectionof waterline at our hydro plant in Laudat developed a leak and the generator there was taken offline to facilitate necessary repairs. This has led to a shortall in capacity, not only at Laudat, but at our Trafalgar plant which is fed by the Laudat power station. As a result, the entire east coast which is fed from Laudat, has had to be taken off grid and due to the reduced capacity, some communities in the south as well. DOMLEC apologises to all affected customers for this unplanned interruption. We are working diligently to repair the leak and restore service in a safe and timely manner. SOUTHERN COMMUNITIES AFFECTED: Pointe Michel, Soufriere, Soufriere Sulfur Spring, Brooklyn, Gallion, Scotts Head, Ravine Banan, Grand Coulibri, Powel, Montin, Tete Morne.
