Remember when Halloween on Nickelodeon meant an entire month of creepy cartoons, spooky specials, candy, and some of the most memorable shows of the 1990s?
Michael Reagan and Nate Lane are joined by returning guest host Stan AKA @Nostalgiaatnite on Instagram for a Halloween trip back to the golden era of Nickelodeon and the classic Nick or Treat holiday block!
For this special, each of our three Rewinders has selected a spooky episode from a beloved 90s Nickelodeon classic: Rocko’s Modern Life, Rugrats, and Hey Arnold! But we're keeping the exact episodes under wraps!
And we're doing things a little differently this time. Rather than simply recapping each episode, Michael, Nate, and Stan tell their chosen stories as campfire tales, taking us back to the weird, creepy, hilarious, and sometimes surprisingly dark side of 90s Nickelodeon. Which show gets the creepiest tale? Which one brings back the strongest Halloween memories? And which story will have you checking over your shoulder when the lights go out?
But that's not all!
Michael and Nate have become obsessed with the new movie-ranking app Cinova, and in this episode they talk about what makes the app so addictive, why ranking and comparing movies can become such a rabbit hole, and why they've spent way more time on it than they probably intended. 😂
Want to see what all the obsession is about? Follow the guys @90sRewindMikey and @90sRewindNate on Cinova and compare your movie rankings with theirs!
But for now, grab some marshmallows, and gather around the campfire…Because we're going back to the 90s for Nick or Treat! 🎃
