But at that moment, Pundalik was busy serving his parents.

Instead of rushing to greet the divine, he gently offered a brick for Vitoba to stand on—and asked Him to wait.

And God did.

Standing patiently on that brick, Vitoba blessed Pundalik and remained there for eternity, becoming the beloved deity of Pandharpur.
