Te Taepa takes us back to his childhood - how he was raised, his influences and how he grew up moving between both belief systems. Today, he still walks in that dual space, and we ask him how those beliefs sit side by side.
We also discuss Brian Tāmaki and Destiny Church, and how its more divisive beliefs sit within the wider landscape of Māori spirituality. Te Taepa shares his whakaaro and comes back to one guiding line in the bible, “Me arohatia tātou ki a tātou anō.”
