1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (KJV) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

As God’s truth is imparted in us, we gain peace with God, with one another, and peace in our minds. There is an unspeakable joy as we rest in the Lord's truth and trust Him to lead, guide and direct us. As the Lord is imparting His truth, we are advancing to higher levels in life where there are boundless prospects and possibilities. As we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, focus on heaven, and obey...

When we stumble and fall along the path of our lives, God is the Faithful One. When we disappoint and let others down, God is the Faithful One.

We are to be Holy vessels unto the Lord. And the wonderful thing is that Jesus has given us the example of what it means to be holy because He is Holy. As we pattern our lives after Jesus Christ, the Son of God, we will walk in holiness of life.

The Lord is our Protector, refuge, and stronghold in the day of distress. As swift as things are changing, we are safe in the will of the Lord. We can trust the Protector to keep us from falling into the traps set by the wicked and the hands of our enemies. Although they band together against the righteous and seek to harm us, the Lord is the rock of our protection.

Jesus has assured us that He is preparing a place for us and that He will return to take us back with Him. What a day of rejoicing that shall be.

God gives us so many gifts, but the most cherished and special gift He wants to give us is the gift of eternal life as citizens of His kingdom! God’s kingdom is great and everlasting. He desires to give His little flock the “kingdom of His power”, the “kingdom of His grace” and the “kingdom of glory”. Have you accepted your gift?
