About

Deposed Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro is scheduled to appear in federal court on Monday on narco-terrorism conspiracy charges, just two days after his capture by U.S. military forces. He’s set to be arraigned at noon in a Manhattan federal court. On Jan. 3, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that Maduro, alongside his wife, Cilia Flores, had been indicted in federal court shortly after their capture and extraction from Venezuela.

The U.S. Secret Service said a man who broke windows at Vice President JD Vance’s Ohio home and caused other property damage was detained early Monday. The man, who has not been named, was detained shortly after midnight, according to a Secret Service spokesperson.
