Coerced by defense attorney, threatened with the death penalty, pled guilty to murder, in which he thought he was pleading guilty to robbery told to him by his defense attorney. Michael D. Gaines stood in the doorway, heard shots, and ran. He never held a gun, never went inside the apartment, never took anything from the apartment. Yet, he was coerced from the Lawton police detectives against his own will.
