Leaders become great by learning to master their own thinking.  Taking every thought captive is no simple task. Perhaps you’ve heard a massively wealthy person say ‘success was not easy’.  Humans get what they focus on the most. Where attention goes, energy flows. 

Focus, attention, intention, these are all practices of a disciplined mind. When stress creeps in, distractions follow. When distractions demand attention, they become tyrants of the mind. Suddenly, the energy of the mind is redirected from planning the future and expends resources on coping with the present or trying to reconcile or resolve the past.
