Exposing fake BABAs and discussing bhakti movment of maharastra | kissy podcast | @VaibhavBagul

He turned down ₹15,000 to promote a "miracle" bracelet — and instead built a following exposing fake babas, fake divine possession, and the real science behind fire walking. This is Vaibhav Bagul, on Kissey Podcast.Vaibhav Bagul isn't a full-time spiritual guru — by day he's a commercial fashion photographer and filmmaker. But after his students and wife pushed him to start teaching, he built a following of 33.5K+ around free 18-day Bhagavad Gita courses, and along the way started calling out the fake godmen and staged "miracles" that plague Maharashtra's spiritual landscape. In this conversation, he breaks down the real physics behind fire walking (it's the Leidenfrost effect, not divine power), shares how one of his exposés crossed 500,000 views and led to real legal cases against fraudsters, and explains why a genuine Guru — like his own, who refuses money and won't let his photo be taken — looks nothing like the men making headlines for fraud. The conversation goes far beyond exposing fakes. Vaibhav and host Dishank dig into the Bhagavad Gita's different schools of interpretation (Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, Dhyana Yoga), the philosophical unity of Shiva and Vishnu through Sant Tukaram's abhangs and the Haripath, the timeless story of child-saint Namdev feeding Lord Vitthala with pure devotion, a personal story from the Warkari pilgrimage at Omkareshwar, and a detailed, science-and-scripture-backed case for vegetarianism rooted in Ayurveda and Konkan's own vegetarian food traditions. This is andhashraddha (superstition) debunking paired with a genuine, thoughtful case for what real bhakti actually looks like.Timstamp00:00 Introduction & Fake Godmen | 02:25 Vaibhav: Fashion Photographer Turned Gita Teacher | 06:00 Rejecting ₹15,000 for a Fake Miracle Promotion | 10:11 Learning the Bhagavad Gita Correctly | 12:30 4 Ways to Read the Gita | 15:36 Are Shiva and Vishnu the Same? | 18:00 Shravan Ritual & Hari-Hara Unity | 21:04 The Blade of Grass Story | 23:00 Traits of a Real Guru | 24:36 Exposing Fake Divine Possession (Sanchar) | 28:00 The 500k-View Video That Led to Arrests | 30:00 Science Behind Fire Walking | 33:25 Moving Beyond Rituals | 36:00 Child Saint Namdev & Lord Vitthala | 40:00 Sant Chokhamela's Devotion | 43:36 A Warkari Miracle Story | 47:00 Why Warkaris Call Everyone "Mauli" | 49:23 Science: Are Humans Built to Eat Meat?
