Penguins showing up in a Japanese town miles away from any ocean, coupled with other strange occurrences? Sounds like a compelling idea for a film, and the artwork looks amazing!
But temper your expectations - Penguin Highway is unfortunately not a great example of Japanese storytelling, with logic frequently thrown to the wind and a heap of forgotten and unexplained plot points.
So is it worth a watch? Guess you better listen to the episode!
