Salvation is God’s gift to mankind. It is not based on perfection, status, or accomplishments, but is available to everyone through God’s grace. From the beginning, God called us according to His purpose to be saved. A person may achieve many things in life, but without salvation, those achievements are temporary. Through Christ, we receive forgiveness, eternal life, and the glory of being children of God.

As believers, we are also called to serve. When the church identifies gifts and potential in you, it may be God’s calling upon your life, and you must be willing to respond. Rewards come through faithful service. Every believer must work wholeheartedly for the Lord, knowing that each person will receive their own reward according to their labour.

You may not always be recognized on earth, but God sees every act of service. Work willingly and sincerely as unto the Lord and not for the praise of men. No labour done for God is ever wasted.

Do not be satisfied with only attending church and going home. Find an area where you can serve, use your gifts for God’s glory, and contribute to the work of His Kingdom. Continue to wait on the Lord and trust Him, for He is faithful and will never fail those who serve Him.
