Text: 1 Samuel 16:5

Today, God is releasing grace, and He is anointing our heads this morning.

This is not an ordinary day; it is a day of divine visitation.

God sent Samuel to Bethlehem with a clear assignment to anoint a king. Although Samuel was afraid and thought Saul would kill him, God reassured him and said, “Go, and I will show you what to do.” This reminds us that obedience to God does not remove fear, but it positions us for divine direction.

The Lord instructed Samuel to take a horn and fill it with oil. When Samuel arrived, Jesse presented his sons before him, one after another. They looked qualified, they looked strong, they looked kingly but God rejected them all. David was not even invited to the meeting. He was in the field, forgotten by men, yet remembered by God.

Even in David’s absence, God singled him out for the anointing. Heaven had already marked him. The oil could not be poured on the wrong head, and the anointing could not be misplaced.

This morning, hear this clearly: no matter your situation, no matter where you find yourself whether hidden, overlooked, or forgotten,God knows your address. He knows your season. He has bookmarked you for your anointing. When the time comes, He will call you forth, and nothing will stop what He has ordained.

All God requires from us is trust and obedience. Your anointing is certain, and your season is near.
