En: The sun shines brightly over Tafelberg.
Af: Johan, Elsa, en Frikkie stap saam met hul klas op die bekende roetes.
En: Johan, Elsa, and Frikkie are walking with their class on the well-known trails.
Af: Die somerhitte maak die lug warm, en alles ruik na vars plante.
En: The summer heat makes the air warm, and everything smells like fresh plants.
Af: Johan is opgewonde.
En: Johan is excited.
Af: Hy het gelees oor 'n seldsame blom wat net in hierdie tyd van die jaar op Tafelberg blom.
En: He has read about a rare flower that only blooms this time of year on Tafelberg.
Af: Sy hart klop vinnig van die opwinding om dit te vind.
En: His heart beats quickly with the excitement of finding it.
