So… is Christmas fake?
Every Christmas, the same claim resurfaces: “Hindi naman talaga December 25 ang birthday ni Jesus.”
In this episode, Ann Mare and Fr. Lennon step back from the arguments and ask a deeper question. Not just when Jesus was born, but what it means that God chose to be born in time at all.
Together, we explore why the Bible doesn’t give an exact birth date, and why that matters; how the early Church understood time, history, and the Incarnation; what Jewish tradition, Church teaching, and Christian theology reveal about December 25; and why Christmas was never meant to win debates, but to proclaim one truth that God is with us.
This isn’t an episode about proving a date.
It’s an invitation to rediscover what Christmas has been pointing to all along. God didn’t save us from afar, but entered our time, our waiting, and our very human lives.
As the year comes to a close, we reflect on what it means to trust God’s timing, especially when life feels slow, unfinished, or unclear.
