TODAY...we are unpacking some of the biggest mental and emotional blocks that derail even the most well-intentioned health journeys:
✨ Pressure — that subtle (or not-so-subtle) feeling that healing, growth, and progress all have a deadline… and how that pressure alone can create anxiety, overwhelm, and burnout.
✨ The Book of Shoulds — all the “shoulds” handed to us by doctors, diets, influencers, family members, and Hollywood. We’ll talk about how these borrowed rules shape our choices… and how to start rewriting your own.
✨ Self-Doubt & Labels — the identities we pick up over a lifetime (“not disciplined,” “emotional eater,” “not athletic,” “bad with food”). We’ll explore how these labels stick to us—and how to finally peel them off.
✨ The Myth of Willpower — why “just try harder” and “want it more” aren’t real strategies, and how this misunderstanding keeps people stuck and feeling broken.
✨ The Noise of Opinions — because let’s be honest… everyone has an opinion about your body, your health, and what you “should” be doing. We’ll talk about how to turn down the volume and tune into your own voice.
✨ Internalized Weight Bias — the sneaky, often invisible beliefs we’ve absorbed about body size, worthiness, and health—and how those beliefs can quietly sabotage our progress from the inside out.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, judged, confused, or just exhausted by all the expectations around health and weight loss… this episode is a big exhale. A reset. And hopefully, a shift.
