C&SI - Summer Reflection Series 2026 - "Beyond the Rainbows" - 23 Aug 2026 (S06E38)

During the summer months here on C&SI we try to share with listeners reflections and talks which we have come across which we think deserve a wider audience and to provide some thoughtful listening for our listeners. On this weeks podcast we share a reflection from National Novena 2026 at Knock from Niamh McCann - "Beyond the Rainbows" which was shared on 15 August 2026. 

After losing her son C.J. to brain cancer at 21 months old in 2023, Niamh McCann helped establish CJ’s Rainbow Charity Cycle, raising over €280,000 for childhood cancer charities. She shares her family’s journey through grief and resilience, inspired by C.J.’s enduring message to “never stop living.”

In part one we have our regular run through the liturgical odds and ends including the up coming saints of the week. 

In part three we have our weekly reflection on the Sunday gospel which this week is Matthew 16:13-20 where Jesus poses the question to the disciples (and to us) - "Who do you say I am?!".
