What does it mean to be a Word & Spirit church? In 1 Thessalonians 1, Paul describes a faith that is shaped not only by the truth of God’s Word, but also by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. God’s Word is living and active, and when we receive it, delight in it, and put it into practice, the Holy Spirit transforms the way we live!
In Part 1 of Word & Spirit, we explore a key part of our DNA at Chico Community Church: what it looks like to receive God’s Word for what it truly is, grow to delight in it, and let our knowledge of Scripture become effective in our everyday lives.
