About
October is World Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to create greater understanding and make space for the voices of those with lived experience. This year’s theme, “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change,” reminds us how important it is to listen to people’s stories and recognise the difference that support and understanding can make. Today, we’re joined by Howard, who will share his personal experience of living with a mental health disability and the role that community support has played in his journey, in partnership with Cape Mental Health.
