This week’s sermon was given by Owen Hylton, who returned to the book of Exodus, chapter 6, highlighting the challenges faced by the Israelites and the call to obedience. Although Moses follows God’s direction, his weakness reminds us as believers that our weaknesses can be a good thing, as they lead us to press on with God and recognise that we cannot do it in our own strength. Moses encourages the church to see that through obedience we become dependent on God, not on ourselves, offering a powerful reminder of our human limitations.
