Jesus meets a man named Levi, who is a tax collector, and what Jesus does with this tax collector is going to show us something incredibly important about the kind of people Jesus came to save.

There are moments that can change the direction of a person’s life. In Mark 2, we meet a paralyzed man and his friends, who come to Jesus and think they know what the paralyzed man needs, but Jesus was about to give him something even greater than he ever imagined.

We all know what it is like to be desperate, but in our desperate times, we need to go to our compassionate Savior.

How can we tend to our fields?

How do you react when someone corrects you? Whether your spouse, your boss, a friend...Proverbs 9 says that reaction is the tell: it reveals which of two tables you're eating at, and this week we'll discover why the door to Wisdom's feast only opens to the hungry.

When we look back on the foolish moments in our lives, we don't want those moments to define us. And that's exactly what Paul wants for the Galatian church. He doesn't want them to be marked by one foolish decision, trading God's grace for their own works.

Knowing God's will begins with knowing God's heart. When we trust Him completely and walk with Him daily, He faithfully leads us one step at a time.

Words are powerful. And sometimes it seems like we can't control them. But one of the goals of Proverbs, is to help us know and understand the power of our words. and how we use our words when talking to one another.
