Thomas Vokins: From Britain to the American Civil War | London Branch Member with Gina Denham 

In this episode of American Civil War and UK History podcast, Daz is joined by Gina Denham, co-founder of the Monuments for UK Veterans of the American Civil War Association, to explore the fascinating life of Thomas Vokins.

Thomas Vokins was a British-born participant in the American Civil War who later returned to Britain and became a member of the London Branch of the U.S. Civil War Veterans.

Gina shares the story of Vokins’ life, his connection to the American Civil War, and his later involvement with the London Branch, helping to shed light on the often-overlooked history of British connections to the American Civil War.
