From the Streets to Service Raphael Floyds Journey to Community Leadership Part 1
A Brighter Day Outreach Podcast
About
In this episode of the A Brighter Day Outreach Podcast, host Beverly Knox Davis sits down with Raphael Floyd for part one of a powerful conversation about his journey from hardship to community leadership.
Originally from Greenwood, South Carolina, Floyd shares his past experiences with gangs, incarceration, and a deeply personal period of homelessness, where he lived in a van with his young son. These challenges shaped his empathy and commitment to serving others.
Now a leader in the Hoskins community, Floyd is the founder of We All We Got (WAWG), supporting homeless men and youth, and the host of Dreamchaser Radio. He also highlights critical gaps in services for single fathers and the importance of education in creating new opportunities.
This episode is a raw and inspiring look at resilience, purpose, and giving back to uplift others.
