In today's episode of the PT on ICE Daily Show, join Older Adult Division faculty member Jeff Musgrave discusses a recent randomized control trial, comparing aerobic & cognitive outcomes for high intensity interval training (HIIT) compared to moderate intensity interval training (MIIT) for older adult adults with no training history. Aerobic outcomes were similar measured by peak VO2 max, however working memory & peak knee extensor strength was slightly better for HIIT group & they achieved this in 1/2 the training time!
