 Before streaming put nearly every song and movie at our fingertips, finding something new meant heading to the record store or video store and seeing what caught your eye. In this episode, we look back at the experience of flipping through record bins, scanning the new-release wall, judging movies by their covers, talking with knowledgeable employees, hunting for hidden gems, and occasionally settling for something completely unexpected when your first choice was gone.
