Starmen

Michael Trahearne, searching out his supposed Breton ancestry, is astonished to learn that he is a member of the galaxy’s only race capable of interstellar travel, the Vardda. He is even more astonished, over and over (as the reader will be) as his immersion in his new culture entangles him in trade, love, hatred, treachery, conspiracy, and the rival efforts to find out or keep hidden his new culture’s most prized but deepest, darkest, most dangerous secret.
