When old man Bransford died, he had a highly desirable ranch, a highly desirable 19-year-old daughter, and a sorry excuse of a son off somewhere in Arizona. He left the ranch to the son — what else could he do? — but it was the daughter who took over running the place. And now she needs help, because a lowdown skunk of a neighbor wants it, and won’t think twice about what he has to do to get it.
